- Start any engine regardless of displacement or compression ratio with a stock starter
- Save your starter and battery; tested for 10,000 starts without running battery down
- Allow for easy start by initially reducing crank compression, but once the engine starts and rpm increases, the compression release lobe is centrifugally retracted and the engine runs normally, with full compression, and without any loss in performance
- All chain-drive cams include installation kit
- Cams that exceed the limits of the stock valve springs require the use of special high lift springs
- Most S&S cams have higher lift than stock and are designed to take advantage of the extra flow of ported stock heads or S&S Super Stock heads
- Designed for 88 to 96 CID engines with compression ratios from 9:1 to 10:1 and 100 to 111 CID engines from 9.7:1 to 10.5:1 compression
- Provides massive horsepower and torque increases starting at 3000rpm and holds steady all the way to redline
- 3500-6000 rpm for 88" - 96" engines and 2500-5500 for larger engines
- For 88/95/96/103 cubic-inch engines
- Intake open/Intake close: 13/33
- Intake lift/Intake duration: 0.585"/226
- Exhaust open/Exhaust close: 50/22
- Exhaust lift/Exhaust duration: 0.585"/252
- Compression ratios below 10:1
- Installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance and valve-to-piston clearance
- Due to the inherent characteristics of gear drives, you may experience more valve train noise
- Not for models with OEM compression releases
- 2005-'06 can use stock valve springs while 1999-'04 will need special valve springs
- Kit contains cams, gearcover gasket, cam bearings, and instructions
- For 1999-'06 big twins (except '06 HD Dyna)
